So you had a bad day!

Played like poop today! Turfed two throws, let some bad players get the better of me on both sides of the ball, and was just slow.

BUT! I used my body like a pro on defense. Never really got it before today, but I had a lot of people run into me while trying to go deep. Even when I didn't get a full body on them I often got a shoulder in the way to slow them down and let me catch up. If I didn't use my body well today I would have gotten roasted for point upon points.

That being said, walked out with a 15-13 win and a great set on the squat rack after. Even got eight minutes worth of abs in.

Looks like a true double-header of practices this weekend. Life does not get much better.

Quick thoughts (Qughts?)

Club ultimate is quite fun.

Lifting sure has some immediate results.

Did not weigh myself this morning -- tomorrow it is.

Worked out with Fat Zac before league today. It was awesome.

I'm working out with him before league on Thursday for multiple hours. Going to be awesome.

Got to throw for over an hour on Sunday. Definitely tightened back up.

There a few things I love more than running down a pull and stopping that first throw. Who
doesn't like 80yd sprints? The look on the handlers face is priceless.

Gym tomorrow! Back/Squats/Abs!

EDIT: holy ballz do my calves hurt. No wonder Zac has bricks for calf muscles.

Trying out a gym membership today! Did some squats on Saturday, and boy were they good. I remember a fast ultimate player saying that he did not making any gains until he got off the track and onto the squat rack. We'll see how it goes.
