The marking drill was nothing new, and I think it would have been more productive with doing it the psuedo-stack way because a straight-up force is not very realistic for people who don't have monster-hucking-ability to demand it. Regardless, it seemed to go pretty well and the only other change I might have made would have been to make it shorter to keep up the intensity.
Scrimmage was OK. The beginning had my team falling behind quick mostly because we weren't valuing the disc, which seems to be a recurring problem with the team. We switched up the teams and people came and went, and by the end I was permanent deep-deep/20-yard-dump. A lot of poor hucks were thrown at the end and hopefully we figured out that OI's and even IO's are traps in wind.
We'll see how sectional's practices go, but I'll be dissapointed with flawless execution from both the captains in how the run the practice and the intensity from the rest of the roster.

IOs are great in the wind. OIs are pretty much dook unless you are really good at throwing them. They work if the wind is going the right way but too many of our players throw them so that they come down as a blade. Hard to catch at the best of times.
