Sorry

I can't go to running conditioning, I get shin splints (But I can play Ultimate on the rougher surface of the gym floor)

I can't throw backhands, I hurt my finger.

I can't take you to sectionals.

I'm really tired of hearing that kind of excuse. Either get it checked out, stop messing around with it, or play through it. Doing half of everything gets nothing done. I ran on that track all last year every conditioing session and didn't get a hint of shin splints, so I don't know how you can get them from Day 1.

Indoor was OK. My throws are pretty much where I want them, but its inside so it might be an illusion. I'm really slow, though. I mean, everyone looks slow when they cover Marty, but God damn. I think I'm only gonna lift 2-3 times a week and just run myself into the ground. It doesn't matter much how monsterous my flick gets if I can't get open to unleash it. It's not even that much of a problem getting open as it is playing defense or even playing a long point. I'm really slow and really out of shape.

I got cleated on my ankle when I skied some kid, and then he later cleated my toe. I'm taking Vitamin I and putting a cold beer on it and we'll see where I am tomorrow. I played through it without much problem today and it didn't seem to swell much so I think we're alright.

We've got a long way to go before sectionals, and only 2 1/2 months. Gogogo.

Lifting three times a week + running is a solid plan.
